• Natasha & Alex’s Mismaloya Wedding

    When bride Natasha first contacted Plush she was planning her Mismaloya wedding from Calgary, Canada. Alex was living in Vallarta at the time and Natasha is a certified event manager so they had a great start on their wedding plans but were looking for a fabulous caterer and someone to help them bring it all together. Plush partner Blaire is originally from Calgary and even attended the same college as Natasha and they hit it off right away. Natasha and Chef Juan worked together to create a mostly gluten free menu with Mexican and Croatian influences including a few custom menu items. Natasha and Alex planned a beautiful celebration at Casa La Vista with Mexican elements to introduce their families to each other’s cultures.

    Alex’s family prepared pre-ceremony Agua Fresca for guests to enjoy before they were seated for the bilingual ceremony. Following the ceremony guests made their way to the games room where they were served Mexican and Crotian Fusion hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. A family style dinner followed while guests were treated to traditional Mexican dances from a local dance troop.
